Back on the air

September 2013 update......
Where to begin since my last update, the 21 year old has tested her mother and like never before, but the good news is that she seems to be a good path and doing things right now. We aso have a new addition, a little 3 year  needed a good home. We have legal guardianship of him and planning to complete it with adoption.
So, kilts have been tough the past year and a half but I have also found I enjoy wood carving and worked on number of paper mache that I'll get some pictures of to share.
For all, time to fight a 3 year old that doesn't want sleep!!

X-Kilt 2.0 (Beta)

Here's the pleating (BOX) on back and sides of the kilt.
I hope you can see that the aprons and first two pleats lay over the one before it.
With 3 inche pleats but overlaped by two inches at the waist I wanted to bring the waist in (42 inches) while keeping the hips (50 inches) without having to shap the pleats/
